About Us

We reduce suffering related to homelessness.

Formal Definition
The “CAUF” in CAUF Society stands for Cold And Uncared For. We use the term “Society” to mean organization, as in, “an organization or club formed for a particular purpose or activity” (society definition).

The means by which we aim to reduce suffering related to homelessness is a duality. The first way we attempt to reduce it is to offer good information about it, realizing that, if homelessness is to ever be remedied, its problems, solutions, and the rest of its existence must clearly be defined and documented.

In addition, we want the public to also know the answers to the riddles of homelessness. We ensure they do by raising important questions about it that many people, prior to our website’s existence, just could not get good answers for, and then answer those questions by homelessness experts.

For example, some of the most common questions about homelessness are answered on this website:

  • What causes homelessness?
  • How can we solve homelessness and the suffering related to it?
  • Why are people homeless?

We will know we have succeeded in reducing suffering related to homelessness when we have, each week, provided relief to the ills of doing without necessities.

When we have realized this goal, we will then strive to end homelessness by proposing ideas and solutions. Proposing ideas on how to end homelessness, therefore, is the first way we will end homelessness.

The second way CAUF Society plans to end homelessness is by generating and distributing money to a means that relieves suffering related to homelessness. Though, the specifics are yet determined, it is likely that the first pursuit will be to build free homeless communities in city outskirts.

We are the members of CAUF Society, the community that takes care of the Cold and Uncared For. Is there anything that we can do for you?
